** Major events in my life **

1989-1992: Typesetting operator in Japan

1992-2004: Desktop Publishing operator in Japan

2004: Moved to the US from Japan.

 

2005: Started to learn how to make quilts with library books.

2006: Started to offer quilting service to the local quilt guild. People called me "Short-arm quilter" because I used a regular sewing machine to quilt a quilt.

2011: Started to take ESL classes at the Northern Virginia Community College.

2015: Earned Associate of Science Degree in Psychology; transferred to Hollins University 

2016: Started an organic garden in my backyard

2018: Earned Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology (major) and Environmental Science (minor)

2018: Master Gardener Program Certificate

Now, working on A.A. degree in Fine Arts
